THE QUICK CABLECAM FOR LIVE BROADCASTS AND SPORTING EVENTS

Higher, faster and further: our technical abilities have to adapt to today’s demands. After several months of development, we are introducing a new product at the start of 2016 – the high speed version of our Cablecam! The HighSpeed Cablecam is an evolution of our Studio version, distinguished above all by its faster drive system. Speeds of up to 70 km/h can be reached with this cable camera – on an extended cable length of up to 800 metres.

The high-speed cable camera shows its strengths at sporting events and live broadcast settings. Since the system’s introduction, the Cablecam has been put to use at ski-jumping, track-and-field and Boardercross events. The quick camera movements ensure that the viewer does not miss a single highlight!

With the HighSpeed-Cablecam, you enjoy all the benefits of the Studio version, including long battery life, a gyro-stabilised camera mount with a 360° range of motion and programmable reference points along the entire cable length. Two experienced technicians ensure smooth operation, expert control and high-quality shooting in live broadcast settings.

Safety and assembly on-site

Our HighSpeed Cablecam rental package includes comprehensive safety and service. The HighSpeed system moves along a special cable and is additionally stabilised via a safety cable. Assembly is carried out by our team on-site and can be executed within a few short hours. For securing the ropes, we use existing structures, trees or our own towers that can reach a height of over 10 metres. The entire system has been certified for use above the public (DGUV provision 17/18, formerly BGV C1).
