Technical finesse and practical advantages

The Railcam was developed by our company to meet the highest requirements for recordings and live transmissions. The camera system covers multifunctional applications and is made of modern materials such as aluminum and carbon, which allow for the compact and lightweight design.

The Railcam consists of three components: the dolly, the pluggable rails, and a compatible camera. The dolly moves at speeds of up to 15km/h, energy supply is by either cable or battery operation for additional flexibility. For battery operation, lithium polymer batteries with an operation capacity of approximately 2 hours are used.

Camera rails as desired: with the flexible rail system

Our Railcam’s dolly and camera move on a rail system that has virtually no limitations. Simply configure your individual track to fit the exact requirements on location. For the configuration, you have rail components in three different lengths, ranging between 50cm and 2m, and the short inner curve radius ( 1m) even allows you to set narrow curves. We also offer customizations on request. At a rail width of only 30cm, the elements can be installed below the stage floor so that the Railcam appears to float effortlessly along its path. By the way, the rails are not just suitable for the floor, but can also be used at different heights!

Proven control with great flexibility

Control of the Railcam and transmission of video and telemetric data can be done either via cable or remotely. You can program the dolly individually to follow a certain path automatically – including fixed stopping points. Our experienced staff will set up the rail paths and the Railcam control for you.
