Technical finesse and practical advantages
The Railcam was developed in our company to meet the highest demands for recordings and live transmissions. The camera system covers multifunctional fields of application and was manufactured from modern materials such as aluminum and carbon. Thanks to these materials, a compact dimensioning with particularly light weight was achieved.
The Railcam consists of three components: the dolly, the pluggable rails and a compatible camera. The dolly moves at speeds of up to 18km/h, and power can be supplied by cable or battery, giving you additional freedom. Lithium polymer batteries with a runtime of about 4-5 hours are used for battery operation.
Camera rails as desired: with the flexible rail system
Dolly and camera of our Railcam travel on a rail system that knows hardly any boundaries. Simply put together your individual rail line that exactly meets the requirements on site. Rail components in three different lengths between 2 meters and 50cm are available for the design. We also manufacture custom dimensions upon request. With a rail width of only 40cm, the elements can be installed below the stage floor, so that the Railcam seems to float effortlessly on its way. By the way: the rails are not only suitable for the floor, but can also be used at variable heights!
Proven control with great flexibility
The Railcam can be controlled and video and telemetry data transmitted either by cable or, even more conveniently, by radio signal. The dolly can be individually programmed to automatically travel certain routes – including set stopping points. Our experienced employees take over both the construction of the rail track and the control of the Railcam. The recordings of the rail camera can be ideally integrated into live broadcasts or studio recordings.
