CableCam Studio: Cable camera for professional live productions
The CableCam Studio enables dynamic camera movements and unique perspectives for TV productions, live events, sports broadcasts, and concerts. The cable camera we developed moves almost silently over the action, bringing the camera close to emotions, movements, and decisive moments.
From planning through to on-site implementation, we personally support your production. Our team will assist you with route planning, mounting, and camera technology, and will handle the setup, configuration, and operation of the CableCam Studio. Dynamic camera movements covering distances of up to 500 meters
On tracks up to 500 meters long, the CableCam Studio enables dynamic camera movements at speeds of up to 25 km/h and inclines of up to 18 degrees. Programmable positions can be saved and approached with precision, while the system stops automatically at the endpoints. Depending on the production needs, the special cable can be attached to suitable building structures or large trees, opening up a wide range of possibilities for custom route planning.
Stable images from unusual perspectives
The gyro-stabilized 3-axis remote head enables precise and smooth shots from virtually any angle. Camera movement, zoom, and focus can be controlled while in motion. At the same time, the CableCam Studio operates very quietly, making it ideal for productions where the camera system moves close to the audience or the action.
Designed for professional live productions
Whether in a stadium, TV studio, concert, or on location—the CableCam Studio is designed for indoor and outdoor use at temperatures ranging from –20 °C to +40 °C. The video signal is transmitted via 3G-SDI with a latency of less than 1 ms, making it available with virtually no delay for live productions. Two technicians on site control the camera dolly, remote head, and camera functions.
Swiss design and reliable operation
The CableCam Studio is developed and manufactured at our headquarters in Aadorf. Carbon fiber, aluminum, and ABS plastic enable a lightweight yet robust design. An additional safety cable and certification for use over audiences in accordance with DGUV Regulation 17/18 meet important requirements for professional productions. Depending on the configuration, two to four rechargeable batteries provide 3–4 hours of runtime and can be replaced without interrupting the system.
