Sechseläuten with the ABC-camera crane

At Sechseläuten 2025 in Zurich, tradition meets cutting-edge technology. This vibrant spring festival, rooted in centuries of history, will be captured from unique angles using RemoteCamSystems’ ABC camera crane.

More than 3,500 guild members in historical costumes and 350 horseback riders parade through the city, with the highlight being the ceremonial burning of the “Böögg” — a giant snowman symbolizing the end of winter. According to Zurich tradition, the faster the Böögg explodes, the better the summer will be. Thanks to the ABC camera crane, we are able to document this major cultural event from an entirely new perspective. Its impressive height and flexible controls allow for dynamic shots and stunning visuals.
