Ski World Cup Crans Montana

As soon as the new year begins, the major ski races return to Switzerland’s most impressive alpine landscapes. Following our deployment at the legendary Lauberhorn races in Wengen, another sporting highlight took place at the end of January: the Audi FIS Ski World Cup in Crans-Montana.

At international ski races, peak performance is required not only from the athletes. Our camera cranes with telescopic arms are also in continuous operation under demanding conditions – from freezing temperatures and snowfall to bright sunshine. Using professional systems such as the Camera Crane 120 and the Scorpio 37, we follow the skiers from fixed positions along the course all the way to the finish line.

Thanks to fast and precise camera movements at key sections of the race, striking images are created that perfectly convey the speed, dynamics and emotions of alpine ski racing on television. Our camera systems make thrilling live experiences possible – even for viewers who are not able to watch the race directly at the finish area.
